Ah, I never know whether to feel sorry or flattered when people tell me my writing makes them cry, but I do appreciate the sentiment (as, from an emotional standpoint, that was kind of my intention). I wrote the ending first, actually so it's one of the rougher (and more raw) bits. I thought about ending after the concert like in the above comment scene, but I figured this was a better tie-in to the whole theme.
